Fonda el Postillon is a fine dining restaurant with a relaxed and intimate atmosphere
serving French and international cuisine.
The summer terrace is for beautiful warm evenings and Sunday lunch. The inside area is organized in two dining rooms.
Set price lunch & dinner menu offer good value for money.
We serve 3 course set menu for 28€ and 2 course set menu for 24€ every evening and Sunday lunch.
Groups with more than 9 people we kindly ask to take the set menu. If you are coming with a bigger group and would like a special menu, please contact us at email@example.com.
Our terrace is a smoke-free zone and we have a designated smoking area.
We do have candles and singing for birthdays. Please advise us before.
PS! If a guest brings in an outside dessert, they will be charged 1.50€ per person.
Meet the Chef
I am from France Dax, a region in Les Landes. Almost born in a restaurant, my parents have been hotel and restaurant owners most of their lives. I started in the kitchen of my parents' restaurant at a very young age.
I studied cooking in the Ecole Hoteliere de Talence, the best culinary school in Bordeaux. My father wanted me to learn as much as I could in different establishments, therefore, I have worked in many great restaurants in different countries. My last employer was Cunard Cruise Lines, where I worked as a chef in the ship "Queen Elizabeth II".
I arrived in Fuengirola in 1994 and opened the “Paris-Madrid” restaurant. After ten years I stopped the restaurant activity to have more time with my family and I became a trader on the stock market and I also run a real estate business www.parapar.es.
My passion for cooking has never taken me away from the kitchen and now I am able to share that passion again in a dream location in my opinion.
